Welcome to the Navy Supply Corps School's "Farewell to Athens" webpage.

Our legacy in Athens began when the Navy Supply Corps School commissioned on January 15th, 1954. In a few short months, we will say goodbye to our home of the last 57 years in accordance with the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission of 2005. Although we will miss the Classic City, we look forward to our move to Rhode Island. To learn more about the Navy Supply Corps School, click here.

Planning is already underway to celebrate this momentous event in style. Check back often to see updates to our schedule and purchase tickets to attend events when they become available. We have numerous amazing events planned for our closing ceremony week. If you are reading this, you are invited to share this memorable and bittersweet occasion with us. To celebrate 57 years of the Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, celebration banners are now in production. Through partnerships including Georgia Power and the Athens Chamber of Commerce, the city will hang these banners along Oglethorpe and Prince Avenues.
